Environmental Community Organizers

ECO Youth (Environmental Community Organizers) is a grassroots youth-led organization that stands for justice for our communities.  We fight against all types of inequality: from racism to classism, from the toxins and pollution in our environment to the health problems in our communities.  We promote healthy lifestyles that everyone can access and benefit from.

ECO Youth members design and present interactive multimedia workshops about issues including food access and health inequality, asthma, and air pollution.  ECO Youth members are catalysts for change who can effectively reach community members of all ages, from children to adults.  For an example of an ECO Youth presentation, check out our “Prezi” on Asthma and Air Pollution.  Since starting in 2011, ECO Youth has reached over 1000 people with youth-led presentations at conferences, schools, and community centers.  For more information or to schedule a presentation contact us at ECO.Youth.RI [AT] gmail.com
